Bike 2 DC - Ride To Honor is a fundraising event benefitting Charlotte's
Finest Legacy Foundation and its mission. There are a few different ways to participate in the ride and we are using BikeReg to help make registering and fundraising online easy and fun.
Check out these options for riders and volunteers;

Bike 2 DC - Day 1
This option is limited to the first 30 riders that want to support the ride but can only ride the first day. The minimum fundraising pledge is $200.
This fully supported 100-mile option includes a commemorative jersey from Classic Cycling, an event t-shirt, and transportation back to the start.

Bike 2 DC - Full-Ride LAW ENFORCEMENT
This option is for active and retired LEO's. It includes 4 days of supported riding and transportation back to CMPD HQ. The minimum fundraising pledge is a $700. This fully supported 4-day, 500-mile
option includes a commemorative jersey from Classic Cycling, an event t-shirt, and a custom Bike 2 DC water bottle.

Bike 2 DC - Full Ride SUPPORTER
This option is for non-law enforcement riders that Back the Blue! It includes 4 days of supported riding and transportation back to CMPD HQ for Non- Law Enforcement Officers. The minimum fundraising pledge is $1200.
Your efforts will secure your spot this year and help cover the cost of our Law Enforcement riders. This fully supported 4-day, 500-mile option includes a commemorative jersey from Classic Cycling,
an event t-shirt, and a custom Bike 2 DC water bottle.

Bike 2 DC - Full Ride SUPPORT TEAM VOLUNTEER
This option is for our volunteers who help provide support and SAG for the entire event. Your support and encouragement will make it possible for our riders to complete the ride.
A ride that we couldn't do without you. All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt as well as covered meals, lodging, and transportation. The minimum fundraising pledge is a $700.
In addition to everything included in your registration, the following items are also included for all riders and volunteers.

REST STOPS & SUPPORT
Riders enjoy a fully supported ride each day, including planned rest stops, a lunch stop, and SAG support. Rest stops include snacks, fruit, water, and sports drinks, as well as a place to put your feet down for a minute and rest. Routes will include police escorts whenever possible.

MEALS
All ride options listed above include breakfast and lunch served each riding day. Riders and volunteers are responsible for dinners plus any meals while in the DC area on days 5 and 6.

LODGING
Before the ride, hotel accommodations will be pre-arranged and emailed to riders and volunteers. Hotel options will not be published online.

TRANSPORTATION
All transportation is provided during the event, including the return trip from DC to Charlotte, courtesy of our transportation sponsor, Rose's Transportation of Charlotte. Transportation includes luggage and bicycles.

CYCLING ROUTE FILES
Daily route files will be emailed to all riders a few days before the ride. Routes will not be published online.
